YouTube Forgets Its Woes With Epic Homage To 2017

It’s been a tough year for Google’s YouTube platform, what with all the boycotts, protests and hate videos; however, it hasn’t stopped it from unveiling its annual 2017 “Rewind” spot.

Apparently a homage to all the pop culture over the past 12 months, the epic seven-minute ad chooses to exclude anything nasty like Donald Trump, Kim Jung-Un or focus on the good of things like the #MeToo movement.

Anwyas, check out the fun spot below. However, it does come with a number of US references that a lot of Aussie audiences may not get; plus, a host of cultural references that will probably be unfamiliar to anyone aged over about 25.
