Triple M Breakfast To Serve Healthy Breakfasts To School Kids Across The Gold Coast
One in five kids starts their day without brekkie, and that’s not good enough. So 92.5 Triple M is hosting its own Tuckshop at schools across the Gold Coast.
92.5 Triple M’s Flan, Ali and Spida reckon that’s not good enough and so they are doing something about it.
Triple M Breakfast’s Plath said, “Spida, Flan and I are all parents, and we know firsthand how important breakfast is for kids.
“Without brekkie, kids find it harder to concentrate, socialise, learn and play. Brekkie is by far the most important meal of the day for our growing kids, and these statistics are concerning and really sad. We know how much pressure families are under, so we’d like to acknowledge that and help out,”.
“We are creating our own Tuckshop and once a week for four weeks we will be hosting breakfast at a local Gold Coast school.” “In really exciting news, we are teaming up with Harris Farm Markets from the Isle of Capri to make brekkie even better, healthier and super fresh!”
92.5 Triple M Gold Coast Breakfast team Flan, Plath and Spida will take their Triple M Tuckshop to one school for a day each week for breakfast; they will broadcast their show live and, with Harris Farm Markets, they will provide a healthy breakfast for the kids.
The first Triple M Tuckshop was this week at Pimpama State Primary School, with the next three locations to be announced later this week. Schools, parents, students and teachers can register NOW for have Flan, Ali and Spida’s Tuckshop come to their school – at triplem.com.au
The family-owned and operated Harris Farm Markets jumped at the chance to promote the healthy brekkie message. At the Isle of Capri, it’s home to more than 500 lines of fruit and veg, more than 400 cheeses, a butcher and fish market, a bakery, pour-your-own milk stations, BioSota Honey on tap, make-your-own nut butter and more.
