The Edison Agency has made four new appointments in its Sydney office to service the continued growth across key account The Arnott’s Group and the recent appointment to Nestlé Oceania’s strategic packaging design roster.

Over the past 12 months, the culmination of strategic and creative work across the Uncle Toby’s brand and continued growth of projects across The Arnott’s Group portfolio has led to an expanded on-ground Sydney team.

Amber Bonney, founder and managing director of The Edison Group, an award winning independent brand and design consultancy, said, “while remote working has become the norm, the opportunity for a local team supplying Edison’s unique strategy and human centred design approach is something we’re so proud to offer Nestlé and The Arnott’s Group.”

The creative team will be headed up by industry FMCG legend Pedro Merida as design director and senior designer, Roisin Quinn, bringing a combined 30 years of brand and packaging design, along with unique specialist knowledge of the FMCG environment.

The appointments of Niki Beeston as senior account director and account manager, Phoebe Di Nallo bolster the project team, which is headed up by group account director, Steve Wren.

A new Sydney space will soon be announced, and the 10 year celebration coincides with some exciting new product launches;

  • 1094 – A creative incubation hub with disruption at its core belief, creating space for cross-category collaborators to come together to perform agile creative sprints and disruptive outcomes.
  • Glow – A trends, insights and research division designed to facilitate innovation and inspiration amongst client brand and product teams.
  • Design for Good – Edison’s purpose-led initiative to secure a better future by striving to achieve a balance between profit, people and planet.

The Edison Agency was founded in 2011 and is celebrating 10 years in business this week. The agency now has a team approaching 20 people and fuses intelligent design and strategic insights to create positive change for brands and organisations.

The Edison Agency clients include The Arnott’s Group, Nestlé, Brown Brothers, Keep it Cleaner, Bega Foods, Fandom Group, St Andrews Beach Brewery along with a host of B2B professional services businesses such as Forward Agency.

The Edison Agency also picked up one gold and two silver awards in the 2021 Sydney Design Awards for their work across The Arnott’s Group corporate identity design (Gold), Teevee Snacks brand re-design (SILVER), and FORWARD agency brand redesign (SILVER).
