Entries Now Open For TikTok Young Lions Australia 2023!

The annual search for the very best of Australia’s young communications professionals has begun.

As the official Australian Representative to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, The Misfits are thrilled to announce the launch of The TikTok Young Lions Competition for 2023.

Winning the TikTok Young Lions competition for Australia in and of itself is a coveted feat, an esteemed competition that allows blossoming young talent to compete for national glory.

What’s more?

The winners will represent Australia in the Young Lions Global Competition (part of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity), where they will go head to head against their international rivals to compete for the global crown.

Yes, that’s right! Winners will be sent to France to enjoy all the Cannes festivities in person from 19 – 23 June 2023.

Entries are open to teams of two across the following categories: Media, Digital, Film, Design, Marketing and the new PR category.

All submissions will be assessed by over 60 high-profile industry judges, with five teams shortlisted in each category. These finalists will then participate in a second round of judging for a non-profit partner, where they will be briefed and required to present a response 24 hours later. Film finalists are given 48 hours and are not required to present live.
