Colony Lands Dianne Grice As New Client Service Director

Colony has announced the appointment of Dianne Grice to the newly created role of client service director.

Grice joins Colony with nearly three decades of industry experience across Australia and New Zealand. She is responsible for leading management best practice within the business and maintaining strong relationships to cope with burgeoning growth.

Previously, Grice has led account management teams across financial services, tertiary education, tourism, hospitality, federal, state, and local government. She believes the key to successful client relationships is an authentic desire to understand their challenges and staying solution focused.

Colony co-owner Matt McCarthy is excited to have Grice lead his team. “Dianne’s solution-focused approach to partnership makes her the perfect fit for Colony. We can’t wait to see how she strengthens the management and process side of our business.”

On her appointment, Grice said: “One of the many things that impresses me about Colony is the incredible growth they’re experiencing in such a short time of operation. Monitoring and adapting process is critical at this point to continue a high level of service.”

Grice is a graduate of IECL’s Organisational Coaching Program. Her passion lies in empowering team members to discover their problem-solving potential.

Grice added: “The account management team at Colony are diverse and dedicated. I’ve noticed a commitment to developing solutions and offering value to clients at every opportunity. Offering guidance and direction to a passionate team is an honour. It will be a privilege to see the team grow their skillset and advance in their career paths.”

Grice was integral to creating one of Brisbane’s pre-imminent behaviour change specialist agencies, in her previous role as head of account service at Khemistry. She has led many successful government health and safety projects – most recently the QLD Government COVID-19 response.

Grice will mentor a team of ten experienced account managers across three locations. She will work across the entire mix of Australian and Asia-Pacific clients, including UNICEF, Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Digicel South Pacific and Jumbo Interactive.
