AdTech Platform Adnuntius Unlocks SME Ad Revenue For AU And NZ Publishers
Adnuntius has launched its game-changing self service ad platform to publishers in Australia and New Zealand.
97 per cent of Aussie and NZ businesses are classed as small and their collective portion of the annual $18.8 billion advertising spend is huge — but largely inaccessible to publishers. Adnuntius in Australia enables local publishers to tap that market easily and automatically. Co-founder and CEO Stian Remaad (pictured) explained the revolutionary Adnuntius self-service ad concept:
“Adnuntius provides publishers with a white-labelled platform that includes an easy-to-use interface for any business to book their advertising campaigns. Once configured, publishers create ad products with different audiences that advertisers can choose from.”
“The Adnuntius platform then instantly delivers the best and most lucrative advertiser-to-audience match. This gives small businesses unprecedented opportunities to reach their ideal customers for less, and it allows publishers to access large volumes of highly relevant ads without setting up countless complicated contracts that don’t make back their setup costs.”
Compared to Facebook ads, audiences consider local ads to be 200 per cent more trustworthy, spend 17 per cent longer on premium editorial content that sits alongside these local ads and engage with them 29 per cent more. And then there’s Google ads which cost an average of $7-30 per click. Given this, advertisers, especially smaller businesses, are looking for better-value opportunities.
The options for smaller players, however, are few and far between due to the hassle and cost publishers face in setting up ad packages. As a result, only larger companies that can afford huge ad deals have access to the higher-value, premium ad opportunities that publishers create. At least that was the case until Adnuntius came along.
“Adnuntius is the solution that makes it easy and lucrative for publishers to display ads from small businesses,” said Antonios Sarhanis, head of product at Adnuntius.
“As one example, our platform has so far enabled one publishing alliance to display 2,300 small business ad campaigns that would otherwise have not been feasible. And the publishing alliance has increased its ad revenue by 80 per cent compared to programmatic advertising (a 70 per cent improvement over a pure Google Ads stack).”
Importantly, Adnuntius puts the power in the publisher’s hands. Other popular digital ad options control the ad content and where each ad can be placed, and they use untrustworthy cookies to measure performance. With Adnuntius, publishers create the ad opportunities that provide value to their audience and give SMBs access to that engaged audience.
Then advertisers create the ads that meet the publisher’s criteria and which suit their brand and target market. Adnuntius simply finds the best match and makes it all happen smoothly, instantly, without the need for cookies and in a GDPR-compliant way that works with modern browser privacy settings. Better yet, there’s no middleman taking a cut of the revenue.
Adnuntius was founded in 2016 to resolve the unacceptable high cost and lack of transparency in programmatic advertising while reducing ad fraud and enabling ad targeting without impinging on privacy. Having achieved success in Europe, they’re bringing equitable and lucrative advertising partnerships to Australia and New Zealand.
