Clems Sydney Nabs Graham Sweet As Head Of Brand Planning

Clemenger BBDO Sydney has announced the appointment of Graham Sweet to the role of head of brand planning.

With close to 20 years’ experience, Weet has had an amazing track record working at some of the best agencies and across the most widely recognised brands globally. From leading the planning team at Saatchi & Saatchi and We Are Social, to working as a planning partner at DDB on VW and Mars, to Bohemia where he worked on flexing his media, tech and data muscles.

Lilian Sor, chief strategy officer at Clems Sydney commented: “Graham has a phenomenal track record as a strong brand planner, but above everything else, he’s a wonderful person who I’ve had many a laugh with already. We couldn’t be happier to welcome Graham to the Clemenger Sydney planning crew and agency.”

Graham is originally from South Africa and started his career in brand consultancy, before moving into agency roles in 2010, first at Jupiter Drawing Room and then Brand Union where he spent more than three years as head of strategy across all of Africa and the Middle East. Having moved to Australia in 2014, Graham has called the place home ever since.

Sore continued: “Loving nothing more than navigating the challenges of big brands and holistic communications, Graham is a simplifier and he’s focused on strategy as a means to an end, not the end itself. Optimistic and motivated, Graham is an advocate of creativity and a tech enthusiast – and is sure to enhance our agency and our clients’ businesses.”
