Tuesday TV Wrap: Old People’s Home For 4 Years Olds Returns In Predictably Charming Fashion

ABC premiered season two of Old People’s Home For 4 Year Olds to a nice 593,000 viewers.

The program is based on a British show of the same name, where elderly people get paired up with preschoolers for activities in wholesome fun.

Slightly less wholesome but no less fun was MAFS, which came top of the ratings at 1,009,000 viewers according to OzTAM’s metro data.

Following next was Seven News with 969,000 viewers and Nine News with 968,000.

A Current Affair beat ABC News with 741,000 viewers to 702,000.

The rest of the ABC’s night saw 7.30 score 573,000 viewers and Anh’s Brush With Fame received 556,000 as he painted Home and Away and radio icon Kate Richie.

For Seven, Home And Away had 529,000 viewers while The Chase had 529,000. Britain’s Got Talent – Best And Worst scored 340,000.

Over at Nine, Hot Seat had 453,000 viewers, Botched had 310,000 and the Afternoon News had 273,000.

Finally, for 10 The Project had 417,000 viewers while 10 News First had 371,000.

Nine (all channels) won overall with 33 per cent of the daily share while Seven (all channels) had 23 per cent. The ABC Network snuck into third with 18 per cent, just beating Network 10 at 16 per cent.

The SBS network had eight per cent.
