Wednesday TV Wrap: MAFS Is Back On Top
After a week dominated by royal family news, MAFS was able to slip back into the top spot on Wednesday night with 969,000 viewers, according to OzTAM.
Last night’s episode saw a dramatic dinner party with tears, confessions, and drink throwing – a ratings cocktail if there ever was one.
The news line-up maintained the status quo with Seven News at 889,000 viewers, Nine News with 864,000, and A Current Affair at 681,000.
Then came the ABC, with ABC News scoring 652,000 viewers, Hard Quiz with 629,000, and 7.30 at 570,000.
Seven’s Home And Away rounded out the top ten most watched with 516,000 viewers.
Sandwiched between Home And Away and The Chase (480,000 viewers) was ABC’s The Weekly With Charlie Pickering at 510,000 viewers.
The second episode of Nine’s medical drama Amazing Grace had 420,000 viewers while Hot Seat had 386,000.
For 10, The Project nabbed 407,000 viewers while game-show The Cube had 402,000.
The rest of Seven’s night saw Border Security – Australia’s Front Line secure 311,000 while true crime show The Pembrokeshire Murdershad 301,000 viewers.
For the SBS, Tony Robinson: Britain’s Ancient Tracks had 170,000 viewers.
Nine (all channels) won the night with thirty-three per cent, while Seven (all channels) had twenty-four per cent. It was neck and neck between the ABC Network and Network 10, with 10 coming out on top at seventeen-point-six per cent while the ABC had seventeen point two per cent.
SBS (all channels) had seven per cent of the share.
