Tuesday TV Wrap: It’s The Voice And MasterChef, As House Rules Continues To Get Nailed

Seven’s House Rules continues to struggle, posting just 465,000 viewers last night according to OzTAM metro number.

Once again the reno show was soundly beaten by rivals The Voice (988,000) and MasterChef (920,000).

Even more viewers preferred the beautifully shot, but slightly dull Miriam Margoyles Almost Australian on the ABC which pulled 569,000.

Nine easily won Tuesday with 29.5 per cent of the audience share (all channels). Seven had 24.4 per cent, 10 did 20.4 per cent and the ABC had 16.6 per cent. SBS again missed out on double-figures, posting 9.1 per cent, namely thanks to Who Do You Think You Are? (362,000).

Seven’s 6pm news was the most-watched show of the night, attracting 1.229 million viewers. Nine’s version did 1.156 and ACA had 854,000.

MasterChef aside, 10’s best was The Project (633,000) and 10 News First (423,000).

Seven also did well with Home And Away (666,000) and The Chase (664,000).

The ABC’s other highlights included its 7pm news bulletin (806,000), 7.30 (570,000) and Foreign Correspondent (486,000).
