Kylie Minogue’s Wine Brand Proves An Overnight Hit

Fresh from appearing in Tourism Australia’s recent campaign, pop sensation Kylie Minogue has unveiled another talent.

The singer last week released her very own brand of rosé wine in British Tesco supermarkets.

And her new drop proved a hit, selling out in many Tesco stores around the country.

The supermarket chain is selling Kylie Minogue Rosé Wine for £9 ($17 AUD) a bottle.

The new venture had been rumoured for months now, after The Sun revealed the singer was “working with her team to make it happen and is in discussions with lots of vineyards to find the perfect wines”.

According to the publication, Minogue had decided to pursue the new venture based on the demographic of her fans.

“Kylie has loads of adult fans and it feels like a good fit for her to put her name to a wine which is sophisticated but fun, just like her,” The Sun mentioned.

“She has been working on it for some time but is hoping she will finally be able to put it out there later this year as a treat for all of her fans.”

As well as clearing shelves, the rosé has earned the adoration of social media users.

“Best rosé wine ever,” tweeted one Minogue fan.

“Like we needed an excuse to drink more wine,” said another.

Minogue is not the only celebrity to launch a win venture in recent times.

Just last month US rapper Snoop Dogg announced his own wine label via a collaboration with Aussie winemaker Treasury Wine Estates.
