Monday TV Wrap: Viewers Remain Lukewarm On ‘This Time Next Year’

Karl Stefanovic’s triumphant return to television is proving less than triumphant after This Time Next Year managed only 588,000 according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Still, it was better news for Nine with The Block (906,000) continuing to do the business and handing the network a Monday night win.

Nine pulled 28.6 per cent audience share (all channels). Seven had 25.8 per cent, 10 did 20.5 per cent, the ABC had 17.7 per cent and SBS did 7.3 per cent on the back of 24 Hours In Emergency (167,000).

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the night with 1.051 million viewers. Other standouts for Seven included Home And Away (653,000), The Chase (609,000), Highway Patrol (492,000) and Motorbike Cops (477,000).

10 did well with Survivor (790,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (747,000) and The Project (475,000).

Nine’s other doers were its 6pm news (930,000), ACA (805,000) and Hot Seat (520,000).

The ABC’s Monday ran this way: 7pm news (650,000), 7.30 (582,000), Australian Story (573,000), Four Corners (532,000), Media Watch (496,000) and Q&A (308,000).
