Acclaimed ABC Publicist Dies Suddenly On Indian Vacation

Acclaimed ABC publicist, Chris Chamberlain, has died unexpectedly while holidaying in India.

The 39-year-old was publicist on a number of the ABC’s top current affairs programs including Foreign Correspondent and Four Corners. Prior to his role at the ABC, Chamberlain worked worked as a publicist in the Australian film industry.

The reason for Chamberlain’s death is not yet clear. Right up until Saturday he had been tweeting images of his Indian holiday.

Chamberlain’s ABC colleagues, including 7.30 Report host Leigh Sales and radio host Dom Knight, have taken to social media to pay tribute to him.
