First Top Gear Trailer Released Post Clarkson & Co Years
The BBC in the UK has released the first trailer for its reboot of Top Gear following the departure of original hosts Clarkson, May and Hammond last year.
The new Top Gear hosts include British radio jock and comic Chris Evans and former Friends star Matt LeBlanc.
It’s clear that the BBC has gone to great lengths to allay fan’s fears that the new hosts wouldn’t be as amusing and dangerous as its predecessors.
The trailer should have Clarkson fans salivating though, as it shows Evans having the beejeemers scared out of him in a McLaren driven by British F1 driver Jenson Button and racing a fighter jet. LeBlanc’s seen fanging about in a modified Reliant Robin and there’s even a Corvette complete with roof-mounted machine gun.
The revamped Top Gear starts in the UK in May with no launch date yet announced for Australia.
