Youth Label Slammed For “Rape Us Now” Ad

A Singaporean clothing is in deep strife after it featured a young model with the words “rape us now” under it.

Fashion label Supergirl ran the ad online to coincide with last week’s Black Friday sale.

The ad, which also appeared to feature an underage model with her eyes closed, caused the obligatory social media shitstorm and was promptly removed.

A spokesperson for the brand, Jordus Lim, immediately apologised and said the ad had gone live and not been vetted by the usual management checks.

“I hereby acknowledge that we have made a mistake, and that our caption does not advocate the right values to the young women community today,” Lim said in the statement.
