Carat Hires Oliver Carthy As Head Of Digital

Lauren Small, managing director of Carat Sydney, has announced the appointment of Oliver Carthy as head of digital.

This is a new appointment for the Sydney office with Carthy leading Carat’s digital offering and building best in class digital skills and capability, together with driving adoption of dentsu’s proprietary technology and platforms.

Prior to joining Carat, Carthy was digital and social manager with Nespresso for almost four years and before that he spent four years with Blue 449 as associate director/client manager/senior digital planner.  He has also worked with Starcom for three years commencing as aigital executive and moving up to digital manager.

Small said: “Ollie brings a wealth of experience from both agency and client side and is extremely passionate about consumer behaviour, the ever-changing digital world and how to interpret and apply this for the best customer outcomes.  We’re delighted that he has joined our growing team.”
