Goodoil Signs New Director & Expands To New Zealand

Production company Goodoil has announced the signing of director Adam Stevens, as well as the opening of a new office in Auckland, New Zealand.

Stevens (pictured above, right) fast established himself as one of the region’s most exciting directing talents, with celebrated work such as the much loved L&P ‘World Famous in New Zealand’ and the inspiring Steinlager ‘Born To Defy’ film.

His work has been recognised at all of the major international award shows; seeing him pick up metal at AWARD, AXIS, LIAs, Ciclope Festival, New York Festivals and Cannes.

Heading up the Goodoil Auckland offering is business director George Mackenzie (pictured above, left) and executive producer Mark Foster Pictured above, middle).

Goodoil executive producer Sam Long said: “Having Adam come on board is of course exciting, but it’s also pretty humbling; he’s a master craftsman and can spin a filmic tale with the very best of them.

“We’ve always been huge fans of his work and to have him join Goodoil is a very proud day for us.

“Add to that the talents of George and Mark and I think we’ll have a huge amount to offer New Zealand creativity.

“Oh, and we’ve got a fantastic office, so stand by for a party invite.”
