Leo Burnett Australia Named in the World’s Top 10 Creative Agencies: Gunn Report

Leo Burnett Australia Named in the World’s Top 10 Creative Agencies: Gunn Report

The highly-regarded Gunn Report, the global index of creative excellence in advertising, has named Leo Burnett Australia the ninth ‘Most Awarded Agency in the World in 2016’ – the highest-ranking Australian agency in this year’s report.

Leo Burnett Australia has been ranked in the top 10 globally for the past three years and has been the number one agency in Australia for the past two.

The Gunn Report is widely viewed as a barometer of the health of creativity in the advertising industry world-wide. Launched in 1999, it is the industry’s only independent global report on creative excellence. The latest edition of the Gunn Report encapsulates the overall performance of the advertising industry from January to December 2016 based on the results of 45 global, regional and national creative awards.

“It’s very humbling to be recognised as the only Australian creative agency to rank in the top 10 in the world. Our ambition is big and bold, to be the most innovative creative solutions company in the world and over the past 3 years, we’ve made the Top 10 – an incredible accomplishment that I’m extremely proud of. To achieve this level of consistency is testament to our unrelenting passion and dedication to creativity and innovation,” said Pete Bosilkovski, CEO Leo Burnett Sydney.

Leo Burnett Worldwide was the third most awarded network in the world in 2016. The network has ranked in the world’s Top 5 Creative Networks for the last nine years. This display of creative consistency and excellence is the hallmark of the network.

Hot on the heels of being named Cannes Lions “Creative Marketer of the Year 2016,” Leo Burnett client, Samsung ranked No.1 in the “Most Awarded Advertiser in the World” category in 2016, which is a testament to the technology giant’s belief in the alchemy of creativity and technology to drive business impact.
