Anti-Gay Marriage Group Loses More Friends With Disturbing New Campaign

The anti-gays are at it again, but this time have really stepped over the line they constantly toe in terms of advocating their views.

Australian anti-gay marriage group Marriage Alliance has shown a woman with a rainbow coloured noose around her neck in its latest internet campaign, a harrowing tactic to demonise same-sex marriage.

The group claims that legalising same-sex marriage will increase suicide because people who are against it will cop bullying over their views.

The group’s social media accounts displayed the advertisement last week with the note, ‘same sex marriage increases PC bullying in the workplace’. But mental health advocacy group BeyondBlue yesterday tweeted the group directly and blasted them for their “harmful” message.

“You may not have thought about it, but you may want to consider the harm that depicting someone in a noose may cause,” it wrote.
