WPP's interesting new signing

The world of advertising has always thrown up a few odd pairings, even in the last year we’ve had Coles and Status Quo, Ketut and Rhonda and Sam Kekovic and Maccas.

But now from Brazil comes the exciting news former World Cup Winner Ronaldo is set to team up with none other than WPP head honcho Sir Martin Sorrell.

The portly former striker, who took to a celebrity weight loss show to shed 15kgs last year, is more used to starring in ads than creating them, so he’s probably going to be able to pick up a few tips from the world’s most famous adman.

Ronaldo is quoted in The Daily Mail as saying: “I won't leave him alone. I'll be asking him questions the whole day, just like a striker. He's going to have to tell me everything."

Still, they’ll have a handy 5-a-side team at least.
