Thursday TV Ratings: Googlebox Wins For Entertainment, But Seven Takes The Cookies

10 had a win last night with Gogglebox claiming most watched entertainment show of the evening.

The trusty performer nabbed 462,000 viewers on a quiet Thursday (sans any football) according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Seven won the night with 30.6 per cent of all of the eyeballs (all channels). Nine had 26.5 per cent, the ABC had 17.4 per cent, 10 did 16.1 per cent and SBS pocketed 9.3 per cent.

Seven’s 6pm news was the most watched show of the evening with 833,000, beating out rival Nine’s 706,000. ACA took 596,000. 10’s The Project did 252,000.

MKR mustered 326,000, but only played in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

In the battle of the afternoon game shows, The Chase (500K) outsmarted Hot Seat (349,000).

Other standouts for Seven were Home And Away (417,000) and The Front Bar (365,000).

Nine’s RBT blew 302,000 and a repeat of Emergency got its pulse up to 273,000.

The ABC’s evening went this way – 7pm news (489,000), 7.30 (387,000), Grand Designs (306,000) and Foreign Correspondent (289,000).
