As wonderful as a product it is, fabled Scotch brand Johnnie Walker does have a bit of a staid and stuffy dad image. Enter a new campaign that is clearly anything but staid and dadsy.
Called “Keep Walking”, the global campaign plays on the brand’s timeless mantra but with a slick modern take. The campaign includes a 30-second TVC featuring a mash-up of famous songs about walking and an outdoor campaign featuring quotes from cultural icons such as Grace Jones, Mark Twain and Mae West.
The campaign’s the work of London-based creative agency Anomaly and was directed by acclaimed fashion photographer Glen Luchford. Check out the TVC below.

With the new work, the brand said it “wants to help inspire people to take their own next step by reflecting the energy, words and thoughts of cultural icons and pioneers who share that spirit”.
Tatiana Stadukhina, VP of Johnnie Walker and Buchanan’s at Diageo North America said: “Excited to see this campaign hit the streets, the film hopefully encourages people to get out there, make the most of life and ‘Keep Walking’ forward, with a sense of optimism and adventure.”
