PR and integrated communications agency Herd MSL has been awarded the PR contract for Foxtel after a competitive pitch.

Herd MSL will support Foxtel’s PR and content communications team to help deliver full 360 integrated marketing campaigns and aim to position Foxtel as the home of world-class entertainment and sport in Australia.

In their first engagement, Herd MSL has been tasked with launching the final season of prison drama, Wentworth.

The award-winning and critically acclaimed Wentworth is Foxtel’s most successful Australian Original to date.

It is broadcast in over 80 countries around the world since its launch in 2013 and the hotly anticipated final season will premiere in Australia on 24 August 2021.

Skye Lambley, (pictured above) group managing director at Herd MSL, said: “Foxtel is a marquee brand known across Australia for delivering high-quality content.

“We are so excited to have the opportunity to deliver creative campaigns for the brand.

“We are a curious, fearless and creative team that thrives on delivering impact for our clients and we look forward to bringing this to our partnership with Foxtel.”

Jacqui Abbott, group director of content communications at Foxtel Group, said: “With the highly-anticipated final season of Wentworth coming soon to our screens we have an opportunity to do something big for the fans right around Australia.

“We felt it was a good time to go to the market and see what some of the best creative partners out there could offer up.

“Herd MSL really nailed the brief and have brought a great amount of energy and passion to the business so far.

“Being such a critically acclaimed and hugely popular Australian drama with a 10-year history we have big ambitions for the final season.”

With more than 70 specialists passionate about creative, strategic, and integrated campaigns, Herd MSL represents one of Australia’s largest and most-awarded groups of agencies – N2N Communications, Fuel Communications and Touch Creative.
