Forbes Australia today announced its inaugural Forbes Australia Future of Wealth Summit, taking place on Tuesday June 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The 2023 Forbes Australia Future of Wealth Summit will feature inspirational wealth creators, corporate leaders and investment experts.
Key topics areas during the Forbes Australia Future of Wealth Summit will include the economic outlook, property, energy, and AI and disruptive technology. With an eye on what’s ahead, it will examine the micro and macro shifts impacting our world and opening up new opportunities to transform wealth through property, energy, sustainability, emerging technologies, AI, and more.
The Summit will feature founder and CEO of WiseTech Global Richard White; NAB chief economist Alan Oster; founder of Gurner Group Tim Gurner; philanthropist, investor and board director Daniel Petrie AO; and River Capital investment committee member Kate Howitt.
The line-up also includes Forbes global properties director and board member Ken Jacobs; JET Charge CEO and co-founder Tim Washington; Alphinity portfolio manager, Global Fund and Global Sustainable Fund, Mary Manning; and Tribeca Investment Partners portfolio manager, Jun Bei Liu.
Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Forbes Australia Editor-in-Chief, Sarah O’Carroll, said: “The world is rapidly changing and we are seeing new wealth-generating opportunities as a result.
“Property may have lost its sheen, but it’s still a $9 trillion industry in Australia and it’s safe to say every billionaire has property in their portfolio, so where is their money? The launch of ChatGPT was a watershed moment, so what’s next in disruptive tech? Innovation that solves a global problem in climate, food security or healthcare could be the next big investment wave, but how do you find it? And how do you mitigate risk in the current landscape? The Future of Wealth Summit brings together the brightest minds to answer these questions and more.”
The presenting sponsor for the inaugural Forbes Australia Future of Wealth Summit is NAB Private Wealth.
The Future of Wealth Summit is the third summit presented by Forbes Australia in recent months and follows the sold-out Women’s Summit in March 2023.
