DDB Still Tops For New Business Wins For Month Of May

DDB – and that includes its Sydney and Melbourne offices – has retained the number one spot for new business creative wins for the month of May according to the latest data from martech firm R3.

Obviously new wins and pitches remain tight due to the ongoing pandemic and that resulted in no changes to May’s top five with DDB leading TBWA, Clems, Cummins&Partners and Saatchi & Saatchi in fifth spot.

Arguably the month’s big improvers were MullenLowe up four spots to sixth position after snaring Citi’s creative, while the month’s real flyer was indie agency 72andSunny that soared 17 spots to seventh overall on the back of its Toohey’s Extra Dry win.

But again, May was pretty light-on for wins with only 14 agencies (as you’ll see below) snaring new business.
