DDB Group Melbourne Appoints New Mango MD

DDB Group Melbourne has appointed seasoned PR, content, marketing and communications expert Gary Wilson as the new Managing Director for Mango Melbourne.

Wilson has taken the reigns from Rebecca Ahern while she is on maternity leave.

DDB Group Melbourne Managing Director Kate Sterling said she was impressed with Wilson’s experience working with a solid mix of consumer and b2b clients, across a broad range of client challenges.

“We’re excited to have Gary on board, and look forward to seeing where he takes the Mango business over the coming months. This is great news for us, and our current and future clients,” she said.

Wilson said he’s impressed with Mango’s recent work for the likes of Porsche, Adidas, Dairy Australia and Coles.

“Mango already is such a strong brand. I’m excited to be part of the DDB Group where my broader experience across several disciplines will align well as we continue to build out the group offering.”
