SurveyMonkey comes to Sydney

Questionnaire platform Survey Monkey is coming down under, opening up the first Asia Pacific office for the company in Sydney which could create up to 25 new jobs in the next few years.

The Australian office will be the largest investment for the company outside

“Sydney is brimming with world-class talent and the Australian Government has been very supportive of the move,” Dave Goldberg, CEO of SurveyMonkey, said.

“One in ten Australians take a SurveyMonkey survey every month.  Our leadership in the market and unique ability to provide large and small educational organisations, governments, businesses and non-profits with the answers they need to make better decisions prompted our investment in Australia.”

Andrew Stoner, NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment, said: “They join Google, Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox and a host of other leading global digital and online companies drawn to Sydney’s vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing digital economy.

“Sydney and NSW account for around 40 per cent of Australia’s digital and ICT businesses and Sydney is home to around 64 per cent of Australian start-ups in this space.”
