Cosentino's 'd-floor' magic wins DWTS
More than 1.3 million fans tuned in to see magician Cosentino steal the Dancing with the Stars crown from song bird Tina Arena and Home and Away starlet Rhiannon Fish last night.
The season 13 finale of Dancing with the Stars pulled in 1.384 million viewers and won its 7.30pm timeslot, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.
The competitions’ lead-ins – Seven News (1.085 million), Today Tonight (1.027 million) and Home and Away (1.022 million) – also performed strongly to beat Nine’s offerings.
Seven won the night with a total 39.2% share of all free-to-air viewers with 30.9% for the network’s primary channel.
Nine was left a total 20.4% with 16% for its main channel.
NCIS on ten came third in its timeslot, behind DWTS and the ABC’s Keating (772,000) it pulled in 667,000 viewers.
Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals also featured in the top 20 with 453,000 viewers.
Ten sat on a total 19% share viewers with 12.6% for the network’s primary channel.
The ABC won a combined 17.7% with 12.7% for ABC1. SBS took 3.8% with 3.1% for SBS ONE.
