WWF to keep onesie fever alive in 2014

The World Wide Fund for Nature – Australia (WWF) is jumping on the onesie phenomenon declaring Wild Onesie Week with onesies of endangered animals.

The onesies are sustainably produced and represent the panda, orang-utan, tiger, hammerhead shark and marine turtle.

The Wild Onesie Week will take plane from June 2 to 8 next year to include World Environment Day on June 5.

Bondi Advertising is working on the campaign strategy which focuses on engaging animal lovers to create real-time awareness and sponsorship.

Marnie Ryan, WWF’s national manager of brand, marketing and innovation, said: “We are delighted to bring this tremendously fun and positive idea to the Australian community. As part of our local brand positioning strategy we wanted to bring the FUN back into FUNdraising, drawing on our strength as the world leader in protecting endangered species and the places they live. As an agency Bondi Advertising have demonstrated real brand empathy, genuine passion and outstanding creative ability.”
