IGA embraces the onesie

IGA supermarkets has kicked off a spring campaign – with a man in a onesie the lead character.

The ‘Spring into action’ campaign features a man in a onesie bear suit, coming out from hibernation on the sofa.

The campaign will run on TV, online, in catalogues and at the point of sale.

Michele Teague, general manager of marketing at Metcash Food & Grocery, which owns IGA, said: “Our spring campaign continues to bring warmth and modernity into the IGA brand. We think it proves that product and price advertising can have creative cut through.”
