Sex Toy Retailer Drops Love Island’s Cassidy McGill Over ‘White Powder’ Scandal

Sex Toy Retailer Drops Love Island’s Cassidy McGill Over ‘White Powder’ Scandal

UK sex-toy retailer Lovehoney has reportedly dropped 27-year-old Love Island Australia star Cassidy McGill following white powder scandal.

The influencer accidentally uploaded a picture to Instagram of herself holding a plate with two lines of white powder on it.

Despite quickly deleting the photo after she uploaded it on 28 December, the damage was done, with one fan writing “That’s just disappointing”.

Lovehoney told So Dramatic! it had ‘suspended future contracts’ with McGill.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the brand said, “While Cassidy McGill isn’t currently and hasn’t previously been a Lovehoney ambassador, she has been engaged to endorse Lovehoney products in the past.”

“As a result of Cassidy’s recent actions, we have reviewed and suspended future contracts with her to ensure those we work in partnership with appropriately reflect our brand values.”

McGill issued a statement on Instagram in response to the backlash, saying that she is seeking therapy as a result of the scandal.
