Allison Langdon’s Today Farewell Included Tears & Her Mercedes Being Towed

Allison Langdon’s Mercedes Benz was towed from Today’s car park in a brutal but ultimately tearful farewell.

Langdon sat down to co-host the morning show with Karl Stefanovic for a final time. Langdon is famously leaving the show to host A Current Affair.

Langdon is staying in the Nine family, there are clearly no hard feelings, but her co-host Stefanovic and the rest of the Today gang spent her entire last show mercilessly pranking her.

Langdon endured everything from having her desk cleared out to her car getting towed.

Weatherman Tim Davies stopped by the network’s car park and hooked Langdon’s luxury car up to a KTW 24-hour Towing hook.

Langdon exclaimed, “What? You’ve got to be kidding me!”

Davies joked, “We are having an Allison Langdon fire sale – including her car.”

However, it wasn’t just joking.

Entertainment reporter Brooke Boney broke down in tears when farewelling Langdon and said: “Friends became family!”

While Stefanovic said, “Ally, you have been a force in this show. A force of news and a force behind the scenes. You have been a force with our producers making sure no stone is unturned and also getting updates on their love lives.

“Despite personal injuries, you smiled, danced, and sang through the pain. You were driven by the desire for our audience to see the best of us. You have been a friend, a very dear friend.

“As we say goodbye, we thank you! You have made us all better!”

The show then shared a montage of Langdon of her tenure on the show, and it was all delightful and emotional.
