Sick Of The News? Married At First Sight Is Back To Distract Us All

Married At First Sight is returning in late January and already one of the grooms is calling his wife a “psychopath.” You can practically smell the ratings.

Channel Nine dropped the promo online and it was like nothing had changed and no lessons had been learnt – reality television at it’s best and worst.

Season after season the network gets backlash for its questionable casting choices. A groom has already been written out of this season before it’s aired and who could forget Bryce and Melissa?

Still, the show always manages to become a water-cooler conversation and occasionally people do find love. Did I mention Melissa and Bryce are having twins?

To celebrate the new season Nine has released a pretty spicy promo.  It has it all – drama, slightly creepy romance and of course lots of women in wedding dresses.

Oh, and a man calling his wife a “psychopath” so perhaps he didn’t get the perfect match!

Love it or hate it, people keep watching it. The show is a consistent hit for the network it was even beating the news in the ratings last season.

So ready or not! The show is back and the headlines are already writing themselves.
