JCDecaux Brings Tokyo Olympics To Aussie Streets With Medal Tally

Out-of-Home company JCDecaux is showcasing the results of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on the streets across Australia with a dynamic campaign that updates medal tally results across its digital network.

As the exclusive out-of-home partner of the Australian Olympic Committee, JCDecaux has inside access to the most anticipated games and is using this unique partnership to bring the Tokyo Olympics a little closer to home for Australians as they are out and about.

JCDecaux has partnered with the Australian Olympic Committee for several years, continuously fostering a closeness between our Olympians and the public.

JCDecaux, head of creative solutions, Ashley Taylor, said: “With so much excitement surrounding the Olympics, we know that nobody wants to miss a medal moment.

“So, we are bringing the latest medal tally results to people across Australia to keep them informed of the latest developments!

“It’s such a fun, easy way for us to participate in the Games locally here in Australia, ensuring that we continue to cheer on our athletes and keep us in the medal chase.”

Australian Olympic Committee, head of commercial operations, Jess Hurford, said: “While we can’t travel to the Games this year, we know that Australians will be glued to coverage of the Games wherever they are, revelling in those key moments that only the Olympics can create.

“We have loved developing this partnership with JCDecaux to make sure that we don’t miss a minute of the latest results and so that the public can share in the success of our athletes over in Tokyo.”

The campaign is live across JCDecaux’s Smart frame digital signs across Australia, Airport and Rail environments for the duration of the Games.
