Haylie Marchant Appointed Executive Director Of Red Havas Brisbane

Red Havas has announced the appointment of Haylie Marchant to the role of executive director, Red Havas Brisbane. In addition to leading the agency to drive growth in the Brisbane market, Haylie will also join the Red Havas national senior management team.

Marchant brings 15 years experience building and running successful agencies in Australia and the US, including four years as founder and director of a Chicago-based communications consultancy. She joins Red Havas from her role as Principal at M2 Communications, where she provided PR and communications services and strategic consulting to clients in the technology, healthcare, transport, and consulting industries. Prior to that, Haylie spent 10 years at Haystac, where she established and grew the Brisbane office before taking on the national head of strategy role in 2018.

Red Havas and Havas Blvd managing director Steve Fontanot said, “After an extensive search, we’re excited to welcome Haylie to the leadership team. When meeting Haylie, it was easy to see that we have a shared belief in a people-led culture, along with a strong point of view on the future of our industry. Her wealth of experience will deliver significant benefits to our clients in Queensland, as well as on a national level, through her contributions to the senior leadership team.”

Marchant added: “I knew from my very first meeting that I wanted to join Red Havas. There was a complete alignment of values and business philosophies, underpinned by a genuine commitment to driving a people-led culture, which has never been more important than in today’s landscape. I’m looking forward to working closely with Steve and the entire agency to build on its impressive foundations and further grow Red Havas Brisbane.”
