Sunday TV Wrap: Celebrity Apprentice Wins Nine The Night

Celebrity Apprentice was Sunday’s entertainment winner, with the Boardroom ep peaking at 776,000 viewers while the rest of the ep peaked at 668,000, as per OzTAM’s metro data.

Last night’s episode saw the celebrities tasked with creating a viral video featuring dogs – surely not that hard? Give them some peanut butter and you’re golden.

Former MAFS star Martha Kalifatidis won the challenge, while The Veronicas and model David Genat (pictured above, looking suspiciously over his cocktail) were sent home.

Seven News came top of the ratings overall with 1,065,000 viewers, while Nine News had 1,000,000.

Then, after Celebrity Apprentice was ABC News with 644,000 viewers.

MasterChef also had a solid night with 590,000 viewers, coming in sixth overall. Things got a little fishy in the MC kitchen in an elimination challenge focused on cod.

After MasterChef was 60 Minutes with 588,000 viewers and Spicks and Specks with 575,000.

Next was 7News Spotlight: Ride of Your Life, which analysed the underbelly of the global theme park industry, while 10’s Sunday Project had 473,000.

The rest of Seven’s night saw the footy score 445,000 viewers while Weekend Sunrise had 272,000 and Liam Neeson flick Taken had 256,000.

For Nine, the NRL had 302,000 and Nine News: Late Edition had 326,000 viewers.

10’s 10 News First had 260,000 viewers, while FBI had 254,000.

Finally, the ABC’s Landline had 257,000 while Sunday Morning Insiders had 245,000 viewers.

Nine (all channels) won the night overall with 28.4 per cent of the daily share, followed by Seven (all channels) with 27.4 per cent.

In third was Network 10 with a flat 20 per cent of the share, followed by the ABC TV Network with 14.4 per cent and the SBS Network with a solid nine point seven per cent.
