Apple Spoofs Tom Cruise And Co With ‘Mission Implausible’ Ad For New iPad Pro

Apple Spoofs Tom Cruise And Co With ‘Mission Implausible’ Ad For New iPad Pro

Apple users would have been delighted with a bunch of new products announced overnight, including a new purple iPhone and the long-awaited AirTags.

But the headline device was arguably the new iPad Pro, which is powered by Apple’s superpowerful M1 Chip that has been used previously to power new versions of MacBooks.

To help launch the new iPad Pro and recognise the addition of the M1 chip, Apple released ‘Mission Implausible’.

While it has many of the same hallmarks of a typical piece of Apple creative, the new video provides a lighthearted parody of the Mission: Impossible films and even includes a guest appearance from one of Apple’s own.

You can watch the video here (make sure you keep an eye out at the end).

There doesn’t appear to be any official affiliation between the video and the film franchise, although the film’s promoters will no doubt be thankful of the extra attention, with Mission: Impossible 7 currently being filmed in the UK ahead of a 2022 release.
