The Duo Of 2020? ‘Guard Doggs’ Snoop Dogg And Doggface208 Appear Side-By-Side In New Ad

In a partnership that we all probably should have seen coming, hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg and his double-G compatriot Doggface208 have teamed up for a new campaign.

Doggface208, who’s real name is Nathan Apodaca, became an overnight sensation earlier this year when his video of himself skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams’ while sipping cranberry juice.

With his laidback persona and ‘Dogg’ name, it was little surprise to see Doggface208 and SnoopDogg team up.

So who came up with the idea to bring the duo together?

Smart home provider Vivint is showing how easy it is to set up their devices in a new campaign featuring the two ‘guard doggs’.

“As professional Doggs, Snoop Dogg and Doggface208 know a thing or two about home security. They also know that a Vivint smart security system that’s professionally installed is the obvious choice,” Vivint said.

Snoop Dogg – fresh off his Menulog advertising blitz here in Australia – added: “The timing is perfect because my long-time hair stylist’s home was just broken into so the first thing we did was to set her up with a Vivint smart home security system,” said Snoop Dogg. “The last thing you need in your life is another hassle. Vivint makes it easy to turn your home into a smart home.”
