Sunday TV Wrap: The Block Continues Its Relentless March, Seven’s Beat The Chasers Does 660K

The tried (The Block) easily saw off the new (Seven’s game show Beat The Chasers) for TV honours last night.

Nine’s reno show keeps on doing the business and was the only program to go over the million-mark last night according to OzTam metro numbers.

The Block enjoyed 1.014 million viewers to Beat The Chasers‘ 660,000. 10’s Junior MasterChef enjoyed a Sunday night boost, it did 528,000.

Nine monstered the night with 34.6 per cent of all of Sunday night’s eyeballs (all channels). That left Seven a distant second with 22.2 per cent. 10 grabbed third and 18.5 per cent, the ABC did 16.9 per cent and SBS did 7.8 per cent.

In the battle of the news bulletins, Nine claimed the honours with 926,000 to Seven’s 915,000. The ABC’s 7pm outing had 646,000.

Nine’s 60 Minutes pulled 649,000 and Seven’s Crime Scene Investigation: Most Infamous didn’t actually kill it, it did just 262,000.

10’s other standouts were The Sunday Project 436,000, 10 News First 298,000 and FBI with 276,000.

Other highlights for the ABC were Roadkill (403,000) and a repeat of Doc Martin (240,000).
