Network 10 Reporter Keeps Her Cool As Pants Split During Live Cross

Arguably, it’s everybody’s worst fear – your pants splitting down the middle while out in public.

Still, spare a thought for Network 10 TV reporter Charlotte Goodlet who had it happen to her during a live TV cross.

Goodlet was filing a live story for 10 News First on Wednesday about the CV-19 outbreak at Sydney’s Newmarch Nursing Home when the stitching in her pants decided it had had just about enough.

Goodlet later posting a photo of the tear – with monkey face saving her modesty – to her Instagram account.

“Moments before a live cross… I had some ‘breaking’ news of my own… no one can accuse me of shying away from ‘cracking’ yarns,” she joked in the post, which ran with the hashtag #breezy.

Her social media followers were quick to praise Goodlet’s professional handling of the wardrobe malfunction, congratulating her on a “ripping yarn”.

“Always gets to the bottom of the story,” one fan tweeted. “Butt you did such a good cross,” another said.
