Survivor’s Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert Named As 2020 Bachelor

Network 10 has revealed its 2020 Bachelor and it’s a name you might be familiar with.

Australian Survivor cast member Locklan “Locky” Gilbert will bare all (well, bare his emotions, he’s already bared most of his body on Survivor) as he looks to find love on 10’s reality TV show The Bachelor.

The news follows Gilbert’s elimination from Survivor during last night’s episode.

He took to Instagram to announce the news.

He said: “There’s no denying I’ve had some incredible, heart-stopping experiences for both work and fun, but this takes the cake.

“Pack your bags Australia, I am beyond excited to be announced as this year’s Bachelor and cannot wait to share this epic romantic adventure with you all.”

While there’s been no official premiere date for the show, B&T understands filming is yet to commence and the full line-up of contestants yet to be filled.

Last year, the show premiered on July 31 to 828,000 metro viewers.
