Kendall Jenner On TikTok… For Just 24 Hours

Famous 24-year-old model, Kendall Jenner joined TikTok on February 3, 2020, getting over half a million followers within two hours.

Kendall posted a video clip brushing her hair as she poses to “Pretty face” by King Staccz. The clip received nearly a million likes at the moment it was posted.

However, on February 4, 2020, the account created by Kendall was deleted less than 24 hours after it launched. It is unclear who is responsible for deleting the account from the platform, Kendall or TikTok.

A similar TikTok handle is now available in the name of Kendall Jenner with only 21 followers.

Kendall was the third from the Kardashian/Jenner family to join TikTok. Kourtney Kardashian and her 10-year-old son joined TikTok in December 2019.

Tiktok, initially the app called Musical.ly, is a platform is owned by a Beijing based company, ByteDance.  The app was launched in 2017 and now has around 500 million active users across the world. Nearly half its user is of the age of 16 to 24.

Tiktok is the most download app on iOS in 2019. TikTok is a boom in Asia, specially in India with 467 million downloads. 90% of TikTok users access the app on daily basis.

The platform allows the Generation Z to create and share short video clips among their followers. With easy access to the application, anyone can become a content creator on TikTok. The app is now widely being used by many popular people for promotion purposes.
