Cross-Promotion At Its Finest: New Selena Gomez Music Video Shot Entirely On The New iPhone

In terms of star power, it doesn’t get much bigger than Selena Gomez.

So it’s no surprise that Apple has chosen the pop star to be the face of its new campaign, promoting the new iPhone 11 Pro.

It comes as another iteration of the award-winning and long-running ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign, but with a bit of a twist.

Gomez has recorded the official music video for her newly-released ‘Lose You To Love Me’ – the first single from her new album – entirely on the new iPhone.

Currently sitting on over 74 million views, it is safe to say the collaboration has worked out for both parties involved.

As well as the three-minute official music video, there are also shortened versions for Apple’s YouTube channel and social media.

It’s not the first time the tech giant and the pop star have collaborated, however.

Way back in 2015, when Apple was still promoting the iPhone 6S, Gomez appeared in a campaign taking a selfie on the then-new phone.

Coincidently (or perhaps uncoincidentally), 2015 was also the year Gomez released her last album Revival.
