Cristiano Ronaldo Stars In Possibly The Worst Ad In The History Of Ads

Cristiano Ronaldo is the most famous football player on the planet and with a personal worth said to be around the $900 million mark you reckon he could pick and choose the endorsements he loans his impossibly handsome face to.

Which does have you wondering what the 34-year-old Portuguese striker was thinking when he signed-up to promote an ecommerce app for Singapore-based brand Shopee.

Still, the ad’s producers not only managed to get football’s deity dancing but singing too. Check out the horror show below:

And, yes, social media quickly exploded with plenty of WTFs.

“Not sure Cristiano Ronaldo will be troubling the Oscars anytime soon.”

“What has gotten into Cristiano Ronaldo?”

“Someone needs to tell me how much they paid Ronaldo to do this ad.”

“Ronaldo will officially do absolutely anything to secure the bag.”

“Crying at this Ronaldo advert.”

“Cristiano Ronaldo is worth about £500m and someone has still managed to persuade him to do this ad.”

“Has anyone got any bleach? As I need some for my mince pies.”
