Network 10 The First Inductee To The Unltd: Hall Of Good

UnLtd, our industry’s social purpose organisation, has announced Network 10 as the first inductee to the UnLtd: Hall of Good at the inaugural Big Dream event last night.

The newly launched recognition award cannot be applied for and is earned through a demonstrable and impactful commitment to doing good.

UnLtd CEO Chris Freel commented: “We work with over one hundred companies and countless individuals who go above and beyond their day job to give back.

“Whilst there are many that are worthy of this recognition, there is one organisation that stands out.

“Network 10, through its 10 Gives program, has fully embraced the ethos of UnLtd and put their Social Impact Program at the heart of their culture.

“They are fully committed to driving social impact and have volunteered time, raised awareness, generated funds, provided resources and are now looking at providing jobs to allow young people at risk to chase their dreams.

“Over the last four years Network 10 have generated over $6.2million of value for fifteen charity partners across five states, and in FY19 alone over $2.1million. Congratulations and thank you Network 10!”

Network 10 CEO Paul Anderson commented: “Wow! What an honour. We are humbled and proud to accept this important recognition.

“The 10 Gives program is now in its fifth year and is a pivotal part of the 10 culture. UnLtd has been instrumental in setting us up for success and guiding us through how to best use our skills and resources to create a positive impact in our society.

“It’s been very special for us to be working so closely with UnLtd in making a difference for those who need it most.”

The award was announced at the inaugural UnLtd: Big Dream event last night in front of a packed house of over 500 industry guests.

The event celebrated and showcased the positive social impact our industry has generated whilst raising funds for the UnLtd charity grants program.

The evening was a big success raising over $370,000 to support children and young people at risk.

The evening included a very amusing “bobble-head” live challenge on stage, a silent and live auction, and some exceptional musical performances by Angie McMahon, D. Minor, Alli Simpson and Ricki-Lee.

Snap Inc Australia general manager Kathryn Carter commented: “What an incredible night! There were tears, laughter and plenty of surprises as the industry came together to celebrate the impact we have already made and to raise even more funds to children at risk.

“It is so special to see and hear first-hand from those young people whose lives have been changed and to be part of an industry that really is making a huge difference.

“We are proud to be supporting the event and the work that UnLtd does and cannot wait for next year’s event.”
