IPG’s McCann Health Terminates Aussie Expat Jeremy Perrott For “Offensive & Inappropriate Language”

McCann Health’s global chief creative officer, Aussie expat Jeremy Perrott, has been sacked from the agency after it was alleged he violated the company’s code of conduct.

According to reports Perrot had used “offensive and inappropriate language” to colleagues.

Perrott had been at the IPG agency for almost three decades and he is the second senior creative director to be terminated in as many days following yesterday’s news that Ogilvy has sacked its global chief creative officer Tham Khai Meng following complaints by female co-workers.

In a statement, McCann Health said of Perrott’s departure: “We received a complaint about a violation of our Code of Conduct by McCann Health’s, Jeremy Perrott. As a result, following an investigation, he is no longer with the company.

“Our foremost priority is to foster a workplace where people are respected and valued, and importantly, an environment where people feel safe and protected to come forward to report actions that run counter to our values and code of conduct,” the statement read.
