Facebook Unveils Powerful New Campaign To Combat White Supremacist Hate Speech In The UK

Facebook has unveiled a powerful new campaign designed to combat the rise of nationalists and white supremacists in the UK.

The tech giant has partnered with the charity group Small Steps whose aim it is to help re-educate and counsel people who have been part of British far-right groups.

Called “Love, brought to you by hate” the campaign is the work of Grey New York and features a former hardline nationalist who’s changed his ways and is now a Small Steps counsellor.

The spot follows his journey of having a nationalist tattoo covered up with a raven that “represents knowledge and understanding”. Check it out below:
