The Brits Launch Creepy Dating Show ‘Game Of Clones’

Move over Married At First Sight, there’s an even stranger dating show coming out of the UK: Game Of Clones, a the dating show where an individual designs ‘their dream lover’ and then lives with eight doppelgangers for a week.

The dating show premiered this week on E4.

Participants are given access to the avatar-building technology so that they can virtually design their ideal other half. Once they’ve created a perfect partner in terms of physical preference, the show’s dating database finds eight suitors who fit the avatar.

David Flynn, co-founder of entertainment studio Youngest Media, said: “It sounds like any singleton’s dream, to create your perfect partner in avatar form and then get to live with ten of them. However with looks out of the equation our singleton will have to work hard to uncover the personality they’re most attracted to. It’s a whole new twist on the dating show genre.”
