Nine Says “Banned” Big Bang Bondage Scene A-OK For Aussie Viewers

A scene in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory that features a bondage and sex dungeon scene will be aired in Australia despite having been banned in the UK.

The scene is apparently a dream sequence of Sheldon’s where he worries that Leonard and Penny have turned his bedroom into a sex dungeon. Penny is seen in a very low-cut latex outfit and is whipping Leonard.

Censors in the UK described the scene as “too hot” and banned the episode citing the show is, in fact, aimed at families.

However, TV industry site TV Tonight has this morning reported that the episode will air in Australia on Channel Nine. However, it will be rated M (the show’s normally rated PG in Australia) and have to air at a later time slot. It’s unclear when the episode will run in Australia and B&T has contacted Nine for confirmation. However, with all the press, it’s certain to be a rating bonanza for the network.
