It may have been the penultimate Bachelor last night, but it appears viewers aren’t exactly flocking to see who the ‘Honey Badger’ will choose to be his final lady friend.

Some 822,000 tuned-in to see Brooke Blurton head for exits last night, leaving just Sophie Tieman and Brittany Hockley to battle it out into tonight’s finale.

On the back of The Block (926,000), Nine won Wednesday with 28.8 per cent audience share. Seven took home 26.1 per cent, Ten had 21.5 per cent, the ABC mustered 16.1 per cent and SBS had 6.9 per cent.

Other highlights for Nine included its 6pm news bulletin (914,000), ACA (786,000), Bite Club (505,000) and Hot Seat (483,000).

Seven enjoyed the most watched show of the night, its 6pm news pulling 1.023 million. Home And Away had 609,000, The Chase pulled 593,000, Highway Patrol had 582,000 and 9-1-1 had 410,000.

The Bachie aside, Ten’s other highlights were The Project with 511,000 and Playing For Keeps with 466,000.

The ABC’s Wednesday focus on comedy ran: 7pm news (737,000, Hard Quiz (646,000), 7.30 (634,000), Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (609,000) and Invictus: Competitor Profiles (288,000).
